Terms of Service

By creating an account or placing an order on ladythrifter.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the site.

Lady Thrifter sells women's fashion online, based in Kampala, Uganda. We stock a mix of items we own directly and items sourced from third-party suppliers.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account
• You must be old enough to legally enter into a purchase in your country to place an order

• All prices are shown in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and may change without notice
• Stock is limited and not guaranteed until your order is confirmed — occasionally an item may sell out before we can fulfil your order, in which case we'll contact you
• Placing an order requires an account, so we can keep you updated on its status

We offer two payment methods:

• Cash on Delivery — available in recognized delivery zones. Pay in cash when your order arrives.
• Online payment — Card or Mobile Money via Pesapal. Required for areas outside our recognized Cash on Delivery zones.

We never see or store your card details or Mobile Money PIN — these are handled directly and securely by Pesapal.

• Delivery fees vary by area. For Kampala, Entebbe, Mukono, and Wakiso, we confirm your exact delivery fee by phone after you order.
• For other towns, a fixed delivery fee is shown at checkout based on your city.
• Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by factors outside our control.

If an item arrives damaged, significantly not as described, or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 3 days of delivery at support@ladythrifter.com with your order number and photos of the item. We'll arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund at our discretion.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached (where applicable) to be eligible. Change-of-mind returns aren't accepted unless the item is faulty or incorrect, given the nature of our stock.

You can cancel an order before it's marked "Out for delivery" by contacting us directly. Once an order is out for delivery, it can't be cancelled, but our returns policy above still applies.

All content on this site — including our name, logo, photos, and text — belongs to Lady Thrifter or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to access accounts that aren't yours, disrupting site security, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.

We work to make sure product descriptions, prices, and stock levels are accurate, but errors can happen. To the extent permitted by law, Lady Thrifter isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
